Mary Naoum

Mary Naoum supports the design, development and implementation of the Transforming Power Fund’s community-led grantmaking. She received her Master’s Degrees in Public Policy and Social Work from the University of Michigan, and has spent many years in relationship with communities directly impacted by over-policing and incarceration, particularly towards efforts to reimagine community safety and wellness using artistic expression and grassroots advocacy. A born-and-raised Michigander, she sustains herself by spending time with family, nurturing lifelong friendships, and marveling at the Great Lakes.
