Retreat Facilitation
AirGo cohosts Damon and Daniel guide your organization, classroom, community space, or group through a day of customized workshops, reflections, and exercises built to address the needs, contradictions, and goals of your space or gathering.
Participants will gain:
- hands-on tools to navigate power dynamics
- foster their radical imaginations
- connect their political contexts to contemporary and historical lineages of liberatory social movements.
From On the Margins co-founder Cindy Berrios: “Damon and Daniel facilitated a retreat for high school aged youth who took part in an educational justice program sponsored by On the Margins. They created a safe, nurturing and joyful environment where participants were able to share their experiences freely and without judgment. Both Damon and Daniel brought an ease and authenticity to their work, which lead to a profound experience for everyone in attendance. It was clear that they researched their content extensively and arrived fully prepared for the day ahead. We feel so fortunate to have partnered with them and look forward to a continued relationship.”
MUTE/AMPLIFY community consulting
Damon and Daniel facilitate an interactive workshop helping college students, community-builders, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations evaluate how structural power mutes and/or amplifies members of their community. Participants gain skills to create humanizing t0-the-root dialogue, address personal and structural power dynamics, and reimagine their space for the more liberatory and creative.

BOTH/AND: Dialogue, Dialectics, and Liberation workshop
How do we make sense of the distance between our ideals and our reality? We all hold contradictions in our personal, communal, and institutional lives, but often struggle to examine and acknowledge these contradictions. However, it is the very work of exploring that space that contains the radical potential to transform ourselves, our spaces, and our communities.
AirGo will spend a week in dialogue with your campus, company, or community to identify its central contradictions and begin the pathway toward acknowledgement, reconciliation, and transformational change.
Building toward Abolition workshop
As abolitionist ideology grows in popularity, AirGo will facilitate participants towards further alignment with this liberatory movement. From learning the lineages of anti-carceral resistance to state violence, to interrogating lessons from contemporary organizing, attendees will be able to deepen their abolitionist consciousness in a collective setting. People coming from various backgrounds and familiarities with the subject matter will be able to work through difficult tensions and contradictions that arise when questioning how to transform our societies beyond structural violence and punishment. Components include:
- History of The Movement
- Claims that move us closer
- An overview of contemporary practices
- Unpacking challenges and curiosity
- Liberatory commitments
Hip-Hop Poetics: Building Verse, Song & Chant
Participants will build skills in the ancient tradition of rhythm and rhyme. Through gaining techniques at the foundations of poetry, popular music and chants, AirGo will move attendees towards building a personalized performance piece they can take with them beyond the workshop. This offering includes the following exercises:
- Keeping Time: Breaking Down Bars
- Call & Response
- Generative Writing Workshop
- Group Showcase
Conference Convos
Damon and Daniel build a pop-up onsite studio at your conference and conduct bite-sized interviews with participants, providing space for reflection on what they’re learning. These conversations are compiled into an episode of AirGo, capturing the conference’s meta takeaways and enabling the impact to extend far beyond the event itself. AirGo also is available to facilitate keynote conversations and Q&A’s.
Example: Our Liberation Summit, 2018.
