Combining art, performance, ritual, & Black spiritual technologies old & new, The TETRA is creating a Digital Underground Railroad:  

a multi-year journey for online and in-person rituals that help decolonize the mind, reckon with inter-generational trauma, & activate the imagination towards new concepts of Freedom.

In the radical tradition of our abolitionist ancestors, we believe Freedom is not just a destination, but a series of intentional steps we take everyday. We define Freedom as a life you no longer have to escape from. We’re called to this life, naturally. However, early on, we’re taught to fight that call, to doubt it, disbelieve it, distract ourselves from it. 

Our work takes on many forms, but at it’s root:  we create spaces that plug you back into your highest, most authentic self. We create spaces in which it is safe to feel & be whole. We engage in cultural healing, energetic reparation, and actionable Promised Land-building—-practicing how we thrive further & further outside White Supremacist Patriarchy, Capitalism, Colonization, etc.

We invite you to imagine your Promised land:  that place where you’re fully healed, fully free.  What does that place look like? Taste like? Smell like? Sound like?  Feel like?
