A former youth organizer, Bri Wil is still actively involved with Detroit Summer, DAY Project, and the Detroit Digital Stewards. She holds a B.B.A. from Baker College and is a Michigan State University Master Gardener. Formerly working for technology companies she uses that experience to help create a different world. She works with elements of audio, graphic design, paint, and recycled objects creatively.
Jova is a recipient of the American Association of University Women Career Development and the Astraea Foundation For Justice’s Global Arts Fund grants. She holds a MFA in video installation from Cranbrook Academy Art. Jova has shown work in New York, Oakland and Detroit, and completed an artist residency at Talking Dolls Studios.
A self-taught multidisciplinary visual artist, Vanessa is also a professional tattooist in downtown Detroit. She co-founded and fronts the local band River Spirit. Her solo performances and art installations have been held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD), CAVE Gallery, Trinosophes, and the College for Creative Studies.
