In Our Names Resource Hub

The “In Our Names Network” is a national network of organizations, campaigns and individuals working to end police violence against Black women, girls, trans and gender nonconforming people. 

Since 2016, the Network has documented cases of police violence against Black women, girls, trans and gender nonconforming folks, and organized to remove police from schools, institutions, and communities at large. The Network has also created, gathered, and shared resources for alternate visions and structures of safety premised on community care and mutual responsibility, and that go beyond reforming criminalizing systems that are designed to regulate and control Black women, trans and gender nonconforming bodies.

The In Our Names Resource Hub is an archive of toolkits, fact sheets, reports, art and curricula that explore and define the intersections of gender violence and state violence, tackle ongoing questions with suggestions like “12 Things to Do Instead of Calling the Cops,” and templates for train takeovers.
