Survived & Punished Resources

Survived & Punished is a national coalition of survivors, organizers, victim advocates, legal advocates and attorneys, policy experts, scholars, and currently and formerly incarcerated people who organize to decriminalize self-defense, support and free domestic and sexual violence survivors, and abolish gender violence, policing, prisons, and deportations. 

Organizing resources, curricula, guides and toolkits from campaigns and projects initiated by the group’s various chapters since 2016 can be found archived on the “Resources” webpage. Anyone who is considering supporting a domestic violence survivor will find ways to connect to other organizers and projects, tips on letter-writing, clemency and parole guides, and extensive, thoughtful and detailed fact sheets and how-to guides on developing a legal defense campaign for survivors who are prosecuted or incarcerated, organizing social media actions, fundraising, direct action, and much more.
