Nihal Osman

Nihal (she/they) joined AMP in Feb 2024 as the Director of Operations. She grew up in Egypt, where she studied political science and advocated for prisoners’ rights and freedom of speech. After relocating to Michigan, she received her graduate degree in organizational development, worked as a change management consultant, and ran workforce development programs at a Detroit-based non-profit. Nihal loves fostering a culture of collaboration, authenticity, and psychological safety. Her focus is on creating efficient and sustainable solutions that support organizations’ growth and optimize outcomes.

An admirer of art, literature, and culture, Nihal enjoys deep chats with her two teeange kids, watching Arabic films with her partner and three cats, and engaging in artsy activities with her friends. Nihal devotes time to advocate for prison abolition, animal welfare, and amplifying Arabic voices within the local community.
