KT Taylor (they/them)

KT Taylor (they/them) is the Development Administrator at Allied Media Projects. An enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, born in rural Idaho and now based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, they deeply believe in the power of community care and collective organizing. KT assists AMP’s Development department by providing administrative support to a variety of projects and initiatives. They also maintain grant records for both Allied Media Projects and its network of sponsored projects.

In their free time, KT enjoys creating zines and comics as a storytelling practice. They find healing and power through the act of telling their own stories as a queer and trans Native person, and through elevating the stories of their community members as well. In 2020, they created the zine Not Alone, Never Was: A Penpal Zine for Rural Queers for Springboard for the Arts project: Artists Respond: Combating Social Isolation. They enjoy reading graphic novels, baking for their friends, and spoiling their cat Zelda.
