Survived & Punished is an all-volunteer grassroots coalition working to realize our vision of freedom for criminalized and incarcerated survivors and our communities. Our work relies on grassroots donations and your support is key to keeping the work moving.

Our work includes:

  • organizing in coalition with currently & formerly incarcerated survivors
  • developing policy advocacy projects focused on freeing survivors and dismantling prisons
  • supporting defense campaigns (including court watches, legal support, & letter-writing)
  • producing paradigm-shifting community education and media advocacy making connections between surviving gender violence and being targeted for criminalization
  • …and more!
